ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Finance team as a Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the group, work closely with our external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process and be responsible for areas relating to lease accounting and store impairment. You will be a passionate about helping junior team members, while assisting with the completion of month end activities for occupancy expenses.

You will partner with internal teams to coordinate the groups insurance renewal and assist in managing claims efficiently.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Accounting role

· Degree / qualification in relevant field i.e. Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance

· Completed or working towards CPA & CA qualifications

· Competent in Microsoft Office products

· Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
