Sales & Applications Specialist – NSW North

GE HealthCare is hiring for the Sales & Applications Specialist – NSW North role. This position focuses on the Surgical Visualization and Guidance Activ Imaging portfolio.

Job Description Summary

As a Sales Applications Specialist for the Surgical Visualization and Guidance Activ Imaging portfolio, your key responsibilities would include:

  • Owning the sales number and strategy: You will be accountable for meeting sales targets and developing strategies to achieve them.
  • Providing product support: Leverage your commercial and clinical expertise to assist customers and ensure they understand the products.
  • Protecting and gaining market share: Use your knowledge and skills to maintain existing customers and attract new ones.

This role requires a strong blend of sales acumen, clinical knowledge, problem solving and strategic thinking.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Meet sales targets and develop effective strategies. Set clear goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Engage with stakeholders and key decision-makers. Understand their needs and tailor your approach to address challenges and objectives.
  • Provide product support. Have a deep understanding of products and their applications. Offer training, resources, and responsive support to customers including pre-sale activity.
  • Protect and gain market share. Understand competition and market trends using data insights, differentiate offerings, and build strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the entire sales process. Oversee from initial consultation to closing with accurate forecasting.
  • Team collaboration. Work closely with colleagues to share insights and support each other.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced experience in successful capital equipment sales within an acute care hospital setting.
  • Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Strong foundational business acumen.
  • Skilled in utilizing CRM tools and maintaining records.
  • Extensive travel and significant customer field activities.
