Pearsall Primary School is an Independent Public School. Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are catered for in a safe caring learning environment. This is a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026.

The Role

We seek motivated applicants with an in-depth understanding of the Western Australian Languages Curriculum and contemporary pedagogical practices to support second language learning. Applicants should have knowledge in teaching the Japanese Language, classroom teaching and high-level Japanese speaking, reading and writing skills.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

  • hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
