Hays Recruitment has partnered with a fast-growing and dynamic food and beverage retail brand who are currently seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead its Australian network of stores. Your new role

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, efficiency, and customer experience across multiple company-owned and franchise locations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across multiple retail sites, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Drive compliance with SOPs, hygiene, safety, and service standards.
  • Recruit, train, and coach store managers and frontline teams.
  • Monitoring KPIs
  • Manage inventory, ordering and wastage.
  • Lead new store openings, including recruitment, training, and pre-launch readiness.
  • Support franchise partners with operational guidance and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site operations. Food and beverage/retail background essential.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • A driving licence as travel will be required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, service standards, labour, and inventory management.
  • Candidates who speak Thai or Mandarin are highly desirable to support effective communication with overseas teams.
  • A hands-on, field-oriented leadership style.
