About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Information Management Team for an Information Management (Records) Officer. This position is responsible for the day-to-day records management activities, ensuring Council records are kept in accordance with business and legislative requirements and assisting in the provision of a comprehensive and professional organisation-wide records management program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Responsible for daily records activities in line with legislative and business requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and security of Council records.
  • Provide timely retrieval and delivery of information to staff.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight.

About you

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have :

  • Working experience with electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS), particularly TRIM / Content Manager.
  • Proven ability to apply attention to detail and complete tasks to a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment and to handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.

Benefits

Salary : $70, $72,715.00 per annum, depending on relevant skills and qualifications.

Permanent staff are entitled to :

  • 5 weeks annual leave per year
  • The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks in exchange for working 40 hours per week.
  • Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
  • Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of 5%
