We are seeking a passionate First Nations Practitioner to work with our national Consulting team, with extensive experience in delivering training, coaching and First Nations wellbeing support. Experience in yarning circles, conflict resolution services, change management and delivering strategic human resource solutions is highly desirable.
Responsibilities- Provide support services in the social emotional wellness area for First Nations employees/communities
- Have demonstrated experience in facilitation, yarning circles, deliver training and reporting
- Provide services to both non-Indigenous and First Nations organisations and individuals
- Have previous experience working in various environments e.g. metropolitan, rural, remote and discreet community locations
- Be able to demonstrate experience working in both team and individual environments
- Deliver high quality, engaging and contemporary workplace consulting services in the areas of mental health and wellbeing
- Recognise and anticipate real or potential risks and provide appropriate recommendations for intervention
- Explore solutions which optimise workplace health and wellbeing
- Partner with clients to design and deliver evidence-based training programs
- Understand issues common to workplace relations and employment frameworks
- Work flexibly across various locations
- Experience working with complex organisational human resources environments and delivering strategic human resource solutions
- Experience in designing and delivering adult education and training programs in mental health and wellbeing
- Registration as a mental health professional (i.e. Psychologist, Social worker, Counsellor) is highly desirable
- Experience in workplace conflict resolution and accreditation with the Mediator Standards Board is desirable
- A willingness to work in psychometric assessment is highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
- A driver's licence, own vehicle and a willingness and flexibility to deliver services across metro and regional Victoria are a must
