Peco Constructions has been delivering open space projects featuring both soft and hard landscapes across Melbourne for close to 40 years.

Our projects typically involve earthworks, construction of metal and timber structures, play equipment installation, furniture, paving, irrigation and drainage, advanced tree planting, and garden bed installation.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our growing team. This position offers a great opportunity to build a career in commercial landscaping within a supportive and experienced crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare crushed rock base for concrete works and paving installation
  • Assist with drainage excavation and installation
  • Install plants, trees, and other landscaping materials
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Transport materials using wheelbarrows, shovels, and manual handling techniques
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow all health and safety protocols and site regulations
  • Work closely with team members and site supervisors to deliver high-quality project outcomes

About You
  • Previous experience in a commercial landscape construction environment is preferred
  • Valid White Card (construction induction)
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual labour in varying weather conditions
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping materials, equipment, and techniques
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to and from job sites
