GHD is a multidisciplinary engineering, science and consulting firm focused on making energy, water and communities sustainable for generations to come. Since 1928, we have been wholly owned by our employees, with 11,000 diverse and skilled people across more than 160 offices worldwide.

Based out of Melbourne and Brisbane offices, the Power Systems team delivers technical advice, grid connection studies and power network strategies for the power network across the country. We are looking to develop and support two Electrical Engineering graduates (ideally coupled with a business degree).

Responsibilities
  • Working collaboratively with senior practitioners to simulate and model the power network.
  • Delivering technical assurance audits.
  • Developing grid connection studies for new and existing renewable generators.
  • Working with Electricity systems and market operations to support the transition to net-zero emissions.
Graduate Development Program

Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. You will work with peers, managers and mentors to navigate challenges and grow your professional skills.

  • A cover letter: describe where you'd love to grow within GHD and showcase your communication skills.
  • Your transcript: shows what you have learned, including core subjects and electives of interest.
