GHD Graduate Program 2025/26 – Sustainability Consulting – VIC, NSW, QLD OR WA

Since 1928, we've been wholly owned by our employees, with 11,000 people in over 160 offices across five continents. We're hiring three positions across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Perth to join the Business Advisory Sustainability Team addressing climate and environmental challenges for industry, government and communities.

Who we are looking for We are diverse and seek analytical minds from a range of disciplines to complement our growing Sustainability Team. If you're an engineer, chemist, physicist, economist or environmental and political scientist, you'll fit in with our team. We are curious thinkers who are continually learning.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake climate risk assessments for energy, water, aviation, infrastructure and government clients.
  • Evaluate organisational emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 and work with clients to innovate solutions leading to net-zero emissions.
  • Help clients discover opportunities in nature-based solutions to enhance biodiversity and preserve environmental resources.
  • Collaborate with the broader GHD business to provide integrated sustainability solutions across a range of projects, client types and regions (domestically and internationally).
About the program

Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to provide a smooth start to your consulting career. You will be supported by peers, managers and mentors to navigate early career challenges.

Start dates and opportunities

Most full-time roles start February 2026, with some teams offering earlier start dates in mid-2025. There may also be casual work opportunities during your final year of study.
