Job Title: Food & Beverage Supervisor

Stamford Plaza Melbourne is a five-star hotel located at the 'Paris end' of Little Collins Street, in the heart of the shopping and theatre district.

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our dining operations.

Position Details
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Responsibilities

As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Leading and coordinating the team according to standard operating procedures
  • Training staff on performance standards, menus, and product knowledge
  • Managing operations across outlets: bar, room service, breakfast buffet, and banquets
  • Handling guest complaints following hotel procedures
  • Attending shift briefings, reading and acting on communication diary items
  • Preparing fortnightly rosters
Candidate Attributes
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management (highly desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills and experience
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
