Key Duties:

  • Assisting the Retail Manager with day-to-day operations across our outlets
  • Assist in coordinating the front of house team's daily operations within a high volume environment
  • Lead the team to deliver exceptional, prompt and friendly service
  • Lead from the front, mentor and train the team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment
  • Optimise team members rostered to increase revenue and productivity
  • Address any guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure everyone has the best experience possible
  • Consistently follow safety guidelines when performing tasks or using equipment, reporting all hazards, near misses or accidents to appropriate personnel

About You:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a similar fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading a team, identifying opportunities for improvement, training and developing the team
  • Good knowledge of Melbourne food and beverage scene, what's new and what's hot
  • Coffee fanatic
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions with up to 12 team members
  • Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
