JOB DESCRIPTION

We're on the lookout for two Dining Room Attendants to help keep the teacher's dining area running smoothly. We are after:

  • Morning Dining Room Attendant: Breakfast and lunch service, 6am – 2pm
  • Evening Dining Room Attendant: 4pm – 7.30pm

You will be looking after the dining room from setup and service to pack down. That means making sure the space is clean, welcoming, and ready to go, helping with food prep, and jumping on the coffee machine when needed.

We're after team players who are reliable, organised, and confident working independently when things get busy. If you've got a strong work ethic and love making people feel looked after, we'd love to hear from you

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the setup, aid in the smooth running, and pack-down of the teachers dining area.
  • Ensure dining area is prepared and ready before service.
  • Assist in food preparation for services.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for teachers.
  • Ensure meals are served efficiently.
  • Making coffees.
  • Requires reliability, punctuality, strong organisational skills, and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently when necessary
  • Knowledge of food Safety and handling Practices.
  • High level time management with awareness of Job prioritisation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and Team Members.
  • Completes evening supper distribution of chocolates

COMPLIANCE AND OTHER REQUIRMENTS

  • Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or hold a valid Work Visa in Australia
  • Comfortability with working hours which may include occasional tasks outside normal working hours.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Hold and keep current NSW WWCC.
  • Desire to learn company Dietary policy and procedures.
  • Personal drive, results-orientated with a friendly, can-do attitude.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills with ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks, and work Independently.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in the Kitchen environment desirable.
  • Barista or coffee making experience desirable.
