About the role:

We are currently seeking apprentice chefs of all levels whether you are kick starting your culinary career or looking to grow yourself further.

An apprentice chef is an entry-level kitchen professional who is undergoing structured training, both practical and theoretical to become a qualified chef.

Working under the supervision of experienced chefs, you'll typically study a formal Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent while gaining hands-on experience in a real kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilites:

• Assisting senior chefs with basic food preparation tasks
• Learning how to prepare and cook a variety of dishes under supervision
• Supporting kitchen operations including cleaning, stocking, and organising ingredients
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Attending training or coursework as part of your apprenticeship
• Ability to work autonomously & under direction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the kitchen team and guests

Skills and experience:

• Passion for food and a genuine interest in a culinary career
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop new skills
• Good work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene
• Availability to work a flexible roster across 7 days including late nights & Public Holidays
• You will need your own transport to get to work as we are not on a public transport route
• Must have the legal right to work in Australia
