Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique environment as a Chef, Cook or Apprentice Chef at our Defence Sites in Sydney Central.
The role is suitable for candidates that enjoy bulk cooking with a passion for quality, flavour, and presentation.
You'll get full training and support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.The Position:Full time positionPrepare high-quality, buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and eventsUphold catering standards, comply with OH&S and HACCP regulations, and maintain a strong focus on waste reductionSupport kitchen operations by managing inventory, receiving supplies, and monitoring cold room controlsProvide exceptional customer service during all interactionsThe Person:Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.Licence and transport to access site, no public transportProven experience in large commercial kitchens.Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergen management, and food safety.Passionate about quality, with a focus on presentation and attention to detail.Goal-oriented, committed to personal and organisational success.Benefits:Above award rates plus a sign-on bonus.No late nights or split shifts.Reward & recognition program with cash prizes.Opportunities for growth and career developmentOn-site parking, uniforms provided, and meals during shifts.Candidates will be required to undertake an Australian national police check.
