Your role as a Mobile Lending Manager (known internally as a Mobile Relationship Manager) is to use your lending expertise to build strong, lasting relationships within the local community and drive business growth. Managing your own portfolio, you'll identify prospective customers, nurture leads, and tailor lending solutions to meet their needs.

With a deep understanding of the local market, lending products and risk management, you'll be the go-to expert in your area. Your ability to expand your network, manage leads, and achieve targets will be instrumental in driving business growth. At the same time, you'll make a meaningful impact by helping customer achieve their financial goals while strengthening the local community.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

  • Proactively building a strong pipeline by identifying new opportunities, establishing referral partnerships, and acquiring new customers through strategic networking

    • Guiding customers seamlessly through the lending process, providing them with confidence and peace of mind as you help them achieve their financial goals

      • Strengthening your community presence by building your personal brand, nurturing and leveraging existing Community Bank relationships, and expanding your network through active participation in local events

        • Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and helping to future-proof their financial success

          • Developing lasting relationships within the community, positioning yourself as a trusted lending expert who's always ready to support your customers' needs

This is a permanent full-time position located in Community Bank Laverton, Victoria.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you'll drive the lending growth by building strong relationships, acquiring new business and becoming the go-to lending expert in the area. We'd love you to have:

  • Extensive consumer lending experience – this is essential

    • Strong networks and a proven ability to self-generate new business opportunities

      • High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations

        • An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and a develop a holistic view of their situation

          • Highly developed credit analysis skills

            • An understanding of small business offerings

              • A self-motivated, high performing approach, with a proven track record of consistently delivering lending growth
