Overview

Full-time, fixed-term role with rotation and mentorship opportunities within a dynamic health service located near the coast. A 12-month contract may be available for suitable candidates, incorporating a 6-month Emergency Medicine term.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in Emergency Department operations and clinical care as an ACEM Trainee/Registrar.
  • Complete a dedicated 6-month Anaesthetics rotation with exposure to elective and emergency surgical lists.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical supervision, mentoring, and peer support.
  • Access internal and external professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including FACEMs, sports medicine specialists, GP anaesthetists, and nurse practitioners.
Qualifications
  • MUST BE AN ACEM TRAINEE
  • AHPRA must have current registration
  • Tier 2, non-major referral site accredited for 24 months of ACEM training

Salary & Employment Details
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (86 hours/fortnight)
  • Salary: $129,000 – $175,000 pro rata + super (commensurate with experience)
  • Rotation Dates:
    • 2 February 2026 – 2 August 2026
    • 3 August 2026 – 31 January 2027
