Avive Health is a new kind of private mental health provider. Clinician-led, trauma-informed, and purpose-built from the ground up, we're delivering a more connected, compassionate model of care – and we're proud to be expanding rapidly across Queensland and Victoria.

Avive Clinic Brisbane is growing quickly due to community need, with new psychiatrists joining and programs operating at capacity. We're now looking for a part-time exercise physiologist to help us meet demand and support our diverse inpatient programs.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced exercise physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team, focused on delivering tailored movement programs to support client health and recovery.

You'll work closely with psychiatrists, nursing, allied health and support staff in a positive team environment – where your ideas, experience and presence matter.

What you bring
  • Relevant exercise physiologist, sports scientist or sports physician qualifications
  • Strong teamwork, compassion and communication skills
  • A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
  • Police check (or willingness to obtain)

Avive's mental health care is customised, to give anyone who needs support the right kind of support at the right time.

Our private mental health facilities, currently in Brisbane (QLD) and on the Mornington Peninsula (VIC), provide specialised treatment for drug and alcohol use disorders, general adult psychiatry, mood and anxiety disorders, early life trauma, adult trauma including defence (Department of Veterans' Affairs and Australian Defence Force) and emergency first responders; and women's mental health.
