With over 27,100 face-to-face and online connections provided each year by our staff across Australia, veterans and their families are supported to connect, recover, and move forward after service-related injuries.

**About the role**

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide exercise physiology services within our Ipswich Family Wellbeing Centre. You will be working in a brand new Family Recovery Centre (FRC) with state of the art rehabilitation and gym equipment as well as your own private treatment room.

This is a part time (2 days per week) 6-month contract role.

**Key accountabilities**
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence based and informed treatments to our Mates and/or their families to address physical injury and chronic disease management.
- Provide a combination of individual and group exercise sessions, lead education programs for small groups and liaise with relevant internal and external providers
- Externally promote our service offerings to relevant stakeholders to ensure our targeted client cohort are engaged and aware of the ongoing support they can receive through our service offerings; and
- Provide training and support to all rehabilitation action programs.

**Essential for success**

You will be an exercise physiology professional with experience and the following skills:

- Tertiary qualification in clinical exercise physiology and full registration with ESSA.
- Experienced in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal and mental health conditions, as well as chronic disease management.
- Ability to develop and implement treatment and recovery plans for individuals and families, as required.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and computer proficiency, including the ability to use client information management systems.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate accountability and proficiency in clinical report writing.

**Advantageous**
- Direct experience in delivering exercise physiology or health and fitness related services to current or past serving Defence personnel and their families.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in delivering evidence-based treatment to people across the lifespan presenting with a wide variety or presentations.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
