About The Role

Join our Culture and Organisation Development team and play a pivotal role in shaping Western Health's future. As a Culture and Organisation Development Coordinator, you'll coordinate high-impact leadership programs and team workshop interventions, working collaboratively with stakeholders to implement initiatives aligned with our strategic Business Plans. Your expertise will champion the Western Health COD Positive Workplace Framework, driving service excellence and fostering positive workplace experiences across the organisation.

As a Culture and Organisation Development Coodinator, (3 days per week) you'll deliver comprehensive People and Culture services with a focus on supporting and coordinating leadership programs and team workshop interventions. Working collaboratively with the Organisation Development Consultant and diverse stakeholders, you'll help develop, implement, and evaluate programs that drive service excellence and foster positive workplace culture. Perfect for recent graduates starting their people and culture career or experienced administrators seeking part-time opportunities to continue their professional development

This role provides essential project and administrative support for the COD team while championing Western Health's COD Positive Workplace Framework throughout the organisation. You'll play a pivotal role in building organisational capability through strategic initiatives aligned with our Business Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Program Support & Coordination
    • Coordinate venue bookings, participant communication, and program logistics for leadership initiatives
    • Support room setup, attend programs, and facilitate connections with internal and external providers
    • Prepare materials for program launches and graduations, including certificates and presentations
    • Collect, collate and report on feedback data from leadership programs
    • Contribute to research into leadership needs and maintain participant databases
  • Administrative & Project Support:
    • Create collateral for initiatives and events, managing outsourcing as required
    • Initiate assessments for development and recruitment using Korn Ferry Talent Hub
    • Support Organisational Consultancy Workshop preparations and stakeholder coordination
    • Provide flexible support for ad hoc COD team requirements
  • Positive Workplace Framework Implementation:
    • Support Western Health organisational initiatives and participate in COD program streams
    • Contribute to Mental Health and Wellbeing objectives development and delivery
    • Research and implement strategies to embed desired culture and enhance employee engagement
    • Conduct employee feedback activities and analyze data to identify priority themes
    • Ensure commitment to equity, diversity, OH&S, and ethical practices
    Essential Requirements

    About You:
    • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
    • Proven ability to hold self and others accountable while collaborating effectively
    • Experience in plan development from idea formation through to implementation
    • Strong presentation skills including content creation and delivery
    • Problem-solving capabilities with knowledge of when to escalate complex issues
    • Detail-focused approach with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
    • Demonstrated initiative, self-direction, and team collaboration skills
    • Ability to recover quickly from setbacks and maintain focus despite disruptions

    Desirable Qualifications
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a related field
    • Experience working within complex organisations or healthcare environments
    • Administrative experience in similar roles

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
