Scope:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR and Compliance Support Officer to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding, while ensuring HR and compliance processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

Key Accountabilities:

Recruitment & Selection
  • Assist with pre-screening candidates and coordinating the interview schedule
  • Conduct reference checks and ensure all hiring documentation is complete
  • Support the recruitment pipeline and maintain up-to-date candidate records

Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding packs for new hires
  • Guide new employees through the onboarding process, including systems access and orientation
  • Coordinate offboarding processes, ensuring completion of exit documentation and system updates

Learning & Development
  • Assist in the coordination of training activities, including session logistics and invitations
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance registers

Employee Support & HR Administration
  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR enquiries, triaging and escalating when needed
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records with a high level of accuracy
  • Support performance and probation review processes

Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure accurate documentation and support compliance requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of regular HR reports using Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, custom formulas)
  • Provide support for internal systems such as Sage Micropay, ACCESS ESS, and World Manager

Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in HR support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas
  • Experience handling compliance and HR systems (e.g., Sage/Micropay, ACCESS ESS, World Manager)
  • Payroll processing experience is a plus (especially in AU context) but not required
  • High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and organizational skills
