The primary role of the Project Officer is to provide administration and project support in achieving the aims and objectives of the Swallowcliffe Children's Precinct Committee (SCPC) as part of the Children in the North Alliance.
The SCPC is the governance body comprising members of the Swallowcliffe Precinct in Davoren Park, working to improve outcomes for children and their families.
The Project Officer is a member of a small and highly interconnected backbone team responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of the key initiatives of the Swallowcliffe Children's Precinct, particularly supporting day-to-day communications, administration, community engagement, and project management functions.
Working Relationships
This position is accountable to the Swallowcliffe Children's Precinct Manager and through them to the NACYS CEO. The position has working relationships with NACYS staff; Swallowcliffe Children's Precinct Committee; local service providers and networks; volunteers; and the Davoren Park community.

Position Objective
The Project Officer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and community engagement activities across the Precinct.

Duties
• Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the "Precinct" projects
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure project success
• Provide secretariat support for the SCPC and related projects
• Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, minute-taking, maintaining records, and coordinating logistics
• Support coordination of community meetings, workshops, events, and consultations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting records
• Prepare project updates, newsletters, emails, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as required

Works under the direction of the Children's Precinct Manager
