Principal Power Systems Engineer

We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Bepoz Global, based out of Melbourne (VIC), is actively looking for an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer (Implementation Technician) to join its team on a full-time basis at their Perth office. The business is Australia's leading supplier and developer of point of sale (POS) systems. They are renowned for supplying products that are customised to meet the demands of running a bar, restaurant, cafe, hotel, or club.

1. Performing day-to-day operations, including installation, deployment, configuration, testing, data migration, and administration of Bepoz System Software components, networks, databases, servers, and workstations.
2. Design and configure system architectures tailored to client requirements, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure, while developing a customer-specific project plan.
3. Collaborate closely with clients during implementation and go-live phases to design data models, network requirements, backup strategies, and integration processes, ensuring client expectations are met.
4. Configure, update, and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches, and access points. Enable/Disable TCP and UDP ports, configure firewall rules, subnets, and VLANs depending on business needs. Install VPNs, SQL Servers, RDS, applications, and security patches.
5. Continuously assess, monitor, and research network infrastructures to optimize performance, providing recommendations for improvements in hardware, software, and Bepoz-developed features for hospitality venues across WA.
6. Provide professional remote and onsite support for diagnosing and resolving issues related to Microsoft Windows servers, network printers, scanners, MSR, payment terminals, online ordering platforms, and network/system issues.
7. Upgrade Bepoz software versions with new releases on servers or network changes, followed by configuration and testing for seamless integration, updating SQL database tables and API connections.
8. Facilitate seamless integration of Bepoz with various systems, including payment terminals, managing network traffic, IP reservations, and DHCP ranges for optimal performance.
9. Conduct training sessions with hospitality customers on Bepoz solutions, POS, YourOrder, Snapshots, Oolio Pay, and MyPlace applications.
10. Research and analyze system, program, and application needs, identify limitations, and propose enhancements using CRM tools like Jira, HubSpot, and ConnectWise.
11. Work with the Central Warehouse team to order, supply, and manage hardware for WA customers.
12. Assist in developing project rollout strategies and security policies, ensuring POS system integration and efficiency.
13. Oversee security and compliance of POS systems, payment discrepancies, and data protection, ensuring system integrity.
14. Diagnose, test, and resolve system errors in collaboration with R&D to ensure quality standards.
15. Build positive relationships with clients to support business growth in WA.

• Australian Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Systems, or related field
• At least one year of experience with POS systems

• Full-spectrum system implementation from installation to post-go-live support
• Expertise in firewalls, routers, servers, SQL, VLANs, VPNs, Windows
• Strong client engagement skills, including designing data models and integrating payment systems
• Ability to collaborate on complex projects, ensure compliance, and maintain system integrity

Successful candidates will receive an annual salary of A$80,000 to A$90,000 plus superannuation.
