Join to apply for the Databricks Test Lead role at Robert Walters

This is a great 12 month contract opportunity for a Databricks Test Lead to join a Sydney based Federal Government agency. The role will play a key role in migrating from an on-premise data warehouse to a modern, cloud-based platform; Databricks on Azure. You'll define and lead the testing strategy, and ensure the quality and integrity of data pipelines, transformations, and reporting outputs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in leading data testing
  • Strong SQL and data pipeline testing experience.
  • Experience with Databricks, Azure, and modern data architectures (e.g., Delta Lake).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Essential Technical Skills
  • Python or PySpark for automation.
  • Agile/DevOps experience in data environments.
  • Australian Citizenship to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
