Looking for a motivated and driven Associate Adviser to join our Wealth team (2 positions Melbourne & Sydney). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about building strong client relationships and advancing their career in financial advice.
As an Associate Adviser, you will work alongside our Senior Advisers to deliver tailored, high-quality advice and outstanding client service. You\'ll play a key role in both technical and strategic support, with a clear development path into advisory.
What You\'ll Do:
- Attend client meetings with Senior Advisers, taking notes and assisting with background fact-finding and follow-up
- Conduct strategic financial modelling and analysis using tools like Xplan, Wealth Solver and Risk Researcher
- Perform in-depth product research to support tailored client recommendations
- Draft Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs)
- Contribute to strategy development, including asset allocation and investment recommendations
- Prepare review documentation, coordinate review appointments, and present findings in client meetings
- Monitor portfolio liquidity and ensure alignment with client risk profiles and platform cash minimums
What We\'re Looking For:
- FASEA-approved degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years\' experience in Paraplanning, Client Services, or Associate Adviser roles
- ASIC Authorised Representative status
- Completed FASEA Exam, with qualifications/experience enabling practice beyond Jan 2026
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, investment management, superannuation, and compliance
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and self-motivated
- Experience with XPLAN is highly regarded
- Comfortable with emerging technology, especially AI
- Growth mindset – curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, client-first culture
