This opportunity involves working with paid media, creative advertising, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative media plans and drive business results.
Responsibilities- Manage client expectations regularly, ensuring clear communication across updates, timelines, recommending adjustments, creating presentations, etc.
- Partner with internal teams to represent client perspectives, provide feedback, and present to clients.
- Collaborate with leaders of Analytics, Creative, Production, Strategy to improve and execute client deliverables, processes, and output.
- Develop relationships with media networks and external platforms, expanding relationships beyond the agency walls.
- Work with buying teams to create strategic frameworks and tactical media plans, ensuring final decks and QA exceed client expectations.
- Ensure execution excellence and supply buyers with what they need to launch campaigns, flagging dependencies to clients as needed.
- Be a key driver for on-time, accurate, and innovative media plan output.
- Lead the RFP process with the Associate Directors to secure the best possible plan for the communications idea.
- Develop and deliver flawless media plans from industry insights and expertise.
- Ensure plans integrate paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Translate strategic plan pillars into a consumer journey that covers all communication strategies.
- Act as an in-house media strategy expert for all channels, staying up to date on the media landscape and seeking innovative partners and platforms.
- Mentor associates and support senior analysts, contributing to team career growth.
- Coordinate tasks within the team, define priority, and ensure timely delivery.
- Digest media briefs, compile questions, and create feasible timelines for internal teams.
- Maintain campaign success: review pacing, optimization, reporting, insights, and identify business opportunities.
- Contribute to the growth and stability of VaynerMedia by making decisions that benefit the company today and tomorrow.
- 4+ years of industry experience executing digital programs and investments.
- Strategic understanding of traditional, digital, and social-specific media planning and buying, with appropriate metrics for success.
- Programmatic and Search experience.
- Experience with execution across multiple biddable and native platforms (e.g., Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads, Google Display Network, Twitter/X, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
- Strong knowledge of paid media and measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics, MOAT/IAS/Double Verify, Nielsen/Millward Brown/Oracle Measurement).
- Experience with insertion order buying, building, tracking, and managing IOs.
- Experience leading and managing growing teams.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) and data visualization.
- Advanced written and presentation communication skills.
- Understanding of brand strategy and how it integrates with the wider marketing mix for Fortune 500 brands.
- Experience with industry tools such as GfK/MRI, Nielsen, ComScore, eMarketer, Mintel, etc.
- Regional/global experience with Asia markets is a plus.
