Senior Security Engineer at BINGO Industries BINGO Industries is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect our IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats by designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures.
This role is based at our head office in Auburn.
Role & Responsibilities: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Security Engineer / Senior Security Engineer across Cloud platforms and security controls.
Hands-on experience with multi-vendor, multi-domain enterprise security controls.
Advanced core networking skills for troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining enterprise security controls.
Knowledge of enterprise security architecture and technology configuration.
Expertise in VPN technologies.
Development and maintenance of security tools and automation processes.
Technical expertise in Next Gen Firewalls and cloud internet security gateways.
Experience with security modules such as IPS, DLP, Anti Malware, SSL inspection, and Application control.
Conducting User Access Reviews (UARs) with stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of Linux OS, including patching and installation.
Basic Linux scripting skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and occasionally work extra hours including weekends.
Willingness to learn new security concepts as needed.

Hands-on experience with next gen firewalls, including troubleshooting and patching in high-availability mode.
Experience with IPS/IDS, Anti Malware, DLP, SSL inspection, OT/SCADA security, SIEM, email and VPN gateways, vulnerability assessment tools, and cloud security controls.
Industry security certifications are preferred.
