Job Opportunity: Data Linkage Expert

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Linkage Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting vital health research by delivering high-quality, secure linked data services.

About the Role

The Data Linkage Analyst will be responsible for undertaking operational and project linkages to a high standard. This includes developing and maintaining databases to facilitate linkage of confidential data, preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, and providing database support to other staff in data extraction and processing.

The ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant area, such as IT, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or Statistics, with subsequent relevant experience. They will also possess well-developed skills in database design and modelling, SQL query-writing, and database administration/management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake operational and project linkages to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain databases to facilitate linkage of confidential data.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Provide database support to other staff in data extraction and processing.
Requirements

The successful candidate will require:

  • A degree level qualification in a relevant area.

  • Demonstrated experience in application development.
  • Understanding of data linkage processes and techniques.
