We are currently delivering a major wastewater main upgrade project in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide and are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our growing team.

BTR Excavations is currently seeking a motivated Civil Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our Civil Projects team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for supervising onsite contractors and engaging with key stakeholders including residents and clients, ensuring successful and timely delivery of civil works. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site supervisor or stakeholder liaison professional to step into a leadership role with real impact.

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors across plumbing, electrical, and site restoration disciplines.
  
• Manage day-to-day site operations to meet production and safety targets.
  
• Liaise with residents to coordinate scheduling, site access, and restoration works.
  
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
  
• Schedule works in collaboration with the Project Manager to meet weekly/monthly milestones.
  
• Monitor work standards on-site to ensure compliance with client and company expectations.
  
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting and performance tracking.
  
• Lead a high-performing team with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
  

We're looking for a motivated, hands-on leader with a strong background in civil works/plumbing and a passion for effective stakeholder engagement. You will have:

• Experience in a similar role within the civil construction, utilities sector or commercial plumbing.
  
• Strong understanding of wastewater and/or water main infrastructure.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors effectively.
  
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet KPIs, and manage multiple tasks.
  
• The ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions on the ground.
