What will you do? We're on the hunt for a bold and creative Content Creator / Art Director to join Target's in-house Creative Team. This role is all about bringing our brand to life through engaging, social-first storytelling that connects with millions of Australians across digital, social, and eCommerce platforms. You'll combine conceptual thinking with hands-on execution, creating content that's strategically aligned, culturally relevant, and platform-fit. From developing ideas and supporting shoots to editing video and rolling out assets, you'll play a key role in producing best-in-class visuals that elevate Target's brand and support commercial goals. As a Content Creator / Art Director at Target, you'll report to the Content Producer to:
- Create & Deliver: Concept, produce, and deliver content across social, digital, and in-store channels.
- Shoot & Direct: Support pre-production planning, manage shoot logistics, and contribute to on-set direction.
- Hands-On Making: Shoot, design, edit, and prepare assets from static visuals to video and motion graphics.
- Platform-First Storytelling: Tailor content for Instagram, TikTok, website and paid channels ensuring it's social-first, customer-centric and commercially effective.
- Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of cultural trends and digital behaviours to keep Target fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate: Work with designers, art directors, producers and marketers to elevate ideas and deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Brand Guardian: Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent, and contributes to a seamless customer experience.

What are we looking for? You're a hands-on creative with a passion for content that works hard across platforms. You can switch between concepting an idea and jumping into Adobe or CapCut to edit, animate or retouch. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love balancing creativity with efficiency.
You'll Bring
- 2–3 years' experience in content creation, art direction, or social-first campaigns (fashion, lifestyle, or homewares experience a plus).
- Strong visual storytelling skills across photography, videography, and design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Experience in shoot planning and working with creatives, talent and producers.
- Ability to create both static and motion content for social and eCommerce.
- An eye for composition, colour, and detail with the agility to deliver at pace.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with confidence working to deadlines.
