Overview

Mid Production Coordinator role at DNEG. Production Coordinators aid the smooth running of high-end VFX feature film projects by supporting the production and supervision team and ensuring accurate and efficient information flow.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure artists understand their schedule of work and relay information back to the production and supervision team
  • Coordinate the flow of information and assets between artists and departments
  • Maintain databases with current element and shot statuses
  • Coordinate dailies and take detailed notes
  • Ensure the flow of materials to and from the client
Must Have
  • Minimum 3+ years production experience on high-end productions
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing timelines
  • Good knowledge of the VFX feature film production pipeline and department functions
  • Experience coordinating and running review sessions (dailies)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience working with databases
  • Knowledge of FTP software
  • Diploma or equivalent education
  • Aptitude for learning new software
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Shotgun software
  • HTML / Wiki skills
  • Knowledge of FileMaker

Contract and Location

2 years contract. The ideal candidate must have the right to work in Australia. For this role, candidates should be available to work from the office at least two days per week in Sydney. If not based in Sydney, relocation will be required to be eligible. We value a hybrid work environment and collaboration in a Sydney office setting.
