This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renowned engineering team in Australia, responsible for the design and planning of large-scale maritime facilities for various industries including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability initiatives.

Job Overview

As a Principal Coastal Engineer, you will leverage your expertise across different industries and lead the technical delivery of innovative projects. You will collaborate with our National Maritime Team and other disciplines within KBR and partner organizations to achieve project goals.

The team works on complex clean energy projects, boating infrastructure, wharf and port infrastructure, and environmental remediation of public assets. Key responsibilities include managing and designing large maritime projects, building strong relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, and leveraging existing connections to secure work.

Chartered Professional Engineer status or eligibility for chartering within a specified timeframe is required. This role demands significant experience in coastal modelling software, working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector, as well as familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines.
