The Team
OurInsurance & Health team is headed up by 32 industry leading principalsacross six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is knownfor producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service.The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for thebiggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.
The Role
Due to growth, an opportunity hasarisen for a Senior Associate / Special Counsel level lawyer to work out of ourBrisbane office for our Melbourne financial lines team. The successfulcandidate will work in a truly collegiate team, headed by two leading andrespected financial lines Principals, Hubert Wajszel and Scott Shelly.
The role will involve defending avariety of claims brought against directors, officers and companies, andprofessionals across the legal, financial services, construction, health andproperty industries.
The Successful Candidate
We would love to hear from you if youhave the following skills, experience and attributes:
- previous defendant insurance experience (preferably professional indemnity);
- ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
- effective communication skills;
- ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners; and
- collaborative and pragmatic approach.
