About The Role

Our goal to build 'healthier rural people and thriving communities' is the shared responsibility of all involved in care of our patients and the Hospital Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team.

Providing excellent resident and patient care is always very rewarding for staff. Residents value staff spending time with them and talking to them whilst cleaning duties are undertaken.

You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use your good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. The successful applicant will work closely with all departments in the hospital. You will have the ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

In a small, close knit team of 9 staff you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated. You will be an integral member of the community and you'll see not only the results of your care, but the appreciation of the community of the role you play in their health.
