Major Client Group (MCG) serves over 1,000 clients in the mid-market and large corporate segments across Australia with complex loans of $100m to $500m. Our segment includes industries across the Australian property landscape, supporting investments and developments of scale. Responsibilities
  • You will be a key member of our Property financing team and support the Relationships Managers with research and analysis.
  • Develop a comprehensive database of industry-specific information, ideas and solutions to support our commercial clientele.
  • Undertake analysis and assess risks or opportunities associated with new lending and increases in client credit.
  • Write, negotiate and manage credit applications for new and existing Property clients.
  • Conduct due diligence, financial modelling and risk analysis for applications.
  • Identify, research and compile information on new-to-bank prospects and prepare pitch packs, complex papers and white papers for clients.
  • Oversee complex commercial property transactions and coach/mentor Analysts in the team to support their development.
  • Support focus on quality, credit management, portfolio monitoring, total revenue growth and minimising credit and operational losses.
What we're looking for
  • Previous commercial credit experience as an Analyst, Associate, Assistant Manager, Senior Associate or Credit Manager.
  • Experience writing credit submissions, covenant monitoring, and annual reviews within property, commercial, corporate or institutional banking.
  • Ability to interpret balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flows, loan structures and securities; strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; relevant tertiary qualifications.
