Your opportunityAs a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare based in the Illawarra region on a Permanent Part Time basis you will provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity. You will assist with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship.
Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.
With kindness and understanding, you will provide:
- Domestic Assistance - Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Meal Preparation - Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
- Personal Care Support - Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
- Social Engagement - Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
- Transport Services - Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.
You are a kind-hearted, patient and respectful person who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people.

To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Valid NSW Driver\'s Licence
- Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy
- Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
