Overview

Exciting casual opportunity based in Wollongong. Home Care Worker on the front line of our Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants activities of daily living.

Responsibilities
  • Work on the front line of Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants activities of daily living and ensure individual needs are met.
  • Provide supports such as companionship, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of care provided to participants.
About You

You are a passionate, empathetic, and caring individual who is looking to make a positive impact on others. You are independent, proactive, and able to follow direction from managers while working within a team. Flexible availability is highly desirable and you are committed to providing reliable, person-centered support.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Certificate lll in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (Desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
  • Police Records Check (completed within the last 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling training is desirable, but you will receive training if needed
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
