Responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide range of services to support participants' activities of daily living as part of Consumer Directed Services.
  • Provide companionship, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management as required.
  • Work closely with the participant to ensure their individual needs are met and contribute to continuous improvement of care provided to participants.
  • Support participants to live meaningful and fulfilling lives through personalised assistance as part of frontline services.
About You

You're a passionate, empathetic, and caring individual who aims to make a positive impact. You are independent, proactive, and able to follow directions from managers, while also working well within a tight-knit team. Flexible availability is highly desirable and a commitment to providing reliable, person-centered support is expected.

What do you need?
  • Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (Desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
  • Police Records Check (completed within the last 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling training is desirable, but you will receive training if needed
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - free online course
