Conquest is a private equity real estate firm with holdings in both Sydney, Australia and London, UK.

With 21 years of experience delivering institutional real estate across three core sectors—Residential, Retail and Hotels—the firm is strategically positioned to capitalise on opportunities in both markets.

Due to our exponential growth, we are creating a new role within the business - Retail Leasing Executive.

The Role:
  • Field and manage all leasing enquiries
  • Secure new tenants and execute leasing deals across convenience-based retail assets
  • Manage renewals, casual leasing opportunities, and re-leasing strategies
  • Partner with key stakeholders including leasing agents and internal teams
  • Maintain a strong pipeline through active prospecting and market engagement
  • Track tenant performance and contribute to centre planning initiatives
  • Re-negotiate existing leases to maximise gross income
  • Ensure low vacancy, along with rental growth and low incentive capital
  • Work on remixing & adding new precincts into the asset
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of shopping centre precincts
  • Maximise rental growth on lease renewals
  • Develop & implement leasing plans and strategies
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders including centre teams and retailers
Candidate profile:

The successful applicant will have:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in retail leasing or shopping centre environments
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Ability to build relationships with tenants, agents, and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for retail and activation
  • Confident communicator with a strong drive to deliver results

This is a full-time position located at the group's head office in Sydney's inner-west. Culture fit is of utmost importance - you must be a team player, genuine, and positive. Resilience and a can-do attitude are essential.
