You will complete Certificate III in Carpentry over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer, Shoalhaven City Council.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist qualified tradespeople in performing carpentry tasks
  • Use carpentry hand tools and equipment
  • Carry out minor demolition of building structure
  • Carry out precise measurements and calculations
What you'll be doing

  • Commitment to both on and off the job training
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated safety awareness
  • Neat personal presentation
  • Time management around work commitments
Mandatory Requirements
  • White Card
  • Driver\'s licence and reliable transport
  • NSW National Police Check
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical (spirometry, audiometry, drug and alcohol screening, and functional capacity assessment)
