**We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join the MLH Carpentry & Skylight team as an Apprentice Carpenter.**

MLH Carpentry & Skylights is a locally owned business that is quickly growing and focused on delivering high quality standards. MLH works in the Wollongong & Illawarra region specialising in skylights, renovations & decking.

This role will be reporting to the owner director who is highly experienced in carpentry, skylights, and building.

**Duties**
You will be required to perform a range of duties with main tasks including:

- General carpentry work including framing, cladding, roofing, fix out & more
- Installing skylights
- Complying with building regulations and standards

**Requirements**:

- White card
- Have the ability to multi-task & meet deadlines
- Demonstrate a high level of communication
- Be willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in carpentry and building
- A great attitude with the commitment to be honest & reliable

**Highly regarded**:

- Driver’s licence
- Personal vehicle
- Experience in construction
- Experience with skylights
- Ability to be flexible for weekend work
- Flexibility to stay away from home for a week when out of area jobs require
