We are looking for an extremely friendly Sales Assistant to work on a part-time and full-time basis in stores throughout the Newcastle Region .

The Successful Candidate Will Have :

  • A customer service focus with the ability to impress our customers
  • Highly motivated and proactive attitude
  • High integrity
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Composure under stress and pressure
  • A strong desire to succeed
  • An eye for detail
  • A hands-on approach
  • At least 2 years of experience working with a high-volume, disciplined retailer
  • Strong merchandising skills
  • Commitment to the care of pets

You must be reliable, willing to work flexible days and hours, including weekends, and able to work independently. The role may require lifting heavy items such as bags of dog food.

We seek individuals who want to grow with the business and work collaboratively to achieve results. Pet experience or knowledge is a plus.
