About the candidate:

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced accountant to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be experienced with end of period functions, reconciling ledger accounts and disseminating financial data to prepare reports. You will be skilled in digging deeper and providing gap variance analysis, working on financial forecasts, examining trends and suggesting improvements. You will enjoy working in a busy, faced paced environment with a dynamic and supportive team of skilled financial experts.You will possess a CA/CPA or equivalent experience.

Primary Responsibilities will include:

  • Create, monitor and post accruals and journal entries.
  • Reconciliation of sub ledger accounts and general ledger.
  • Perform fixed asset, general ledger and inventory accounting functions.
  • Calculation of annual rental escalations.
  • Perform period-end activities in accordance with the financial close schedules.
  • Report on financial performance and disseminate relevant financial reports to key leadership and decision makers, including assisting in Board Committee packet preparation.
  • Analyse results, perform variance analysis, identify and provide financial forecasts.
