About the Role

We're looking for a People & Capability Lead who thrives on making an impact. You'll partner with leaders across the organisation to design and deliver people strategies that drive engagement, grow talent, and foster an inclusive, positive workplace. You'll also provide guidance on employee relations, supporting leaders and teams through complex workplace matters with fairness and confidence. From leading key projects to shaping the employee experience, your work will directly influence how our people thrive.

What You'll Do

  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Partner with leaders to deliver HR strategies that align with organisational goals and values.
  • Drive Change & Engagement: Implement change initiatives, lead engagement activities, and develop programs to foster a positive employee experience.
  • Support Talent & Development: Manage recruitment, succession planning, and employee growth initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Champion Policy & Compliance: Ensure HR policies are fair, consistent, and legally compliant, with a strong focus on industrial instruments and workplace law.

About You

  • Extensive experience managing complex industrial relations matters, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Deep knowledge of industrial relations laws and the Fair Work Act, with practical experience applying enterprise agreements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to work with leaders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills to deliver HR initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing workplace culture.

This role is flexible, offered between 0.8–1.0 FTE, and based at our Cannington office.

  • Training, mentoring, and access to LinkedIn Learning
  • Four weeks of annual leave (with the option to buy more)
  • Free and confidential Employee Assistance Program
  • Long service leave after 5 years
