About Lizard Centre

For over 20 years, the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Aldinga Beach for 2 weekly shifts:

  • Tuesday 9:00am-11:00am
  • Wednesday 9:00am-11:00am
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home, clinic, and school
  • Support clients in developing skills such as communication, social interactions, and emotional regulation
  • Collect client data to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation
Skills & Experience:
  • Studying or completed a Degree/Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential
Requirements:
  • Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module – 'Quality, Safety and You'
  • Australian Driver's License & Vehicle
  • Laptop/iPad - personal device required for shifts
