Occupational Therapist Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to lead our team and deliver high-quality care to clients across the lifespan. As a leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to therapists in their practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience working in a leadership role. You will be passionate about developing clinical teams, shaping future talent, and driving quality improvement projects.

In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including speech pathologists, positive behaviour support practitioners, psychologists, allied health assistants, and physiotherapists. You will collaborate with families, health professionals, and service providers to coordinate holistic care approaches.

As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you will:

  • Conduct complex assessments and develop individualized care plans for children and adults with diverse needs.">
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate interventions and promote client safety and independence.">
  • Engage in service development, clinical governance, and process improvement initiatives guided by data and best-practice standards.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, including experience working as a senior clinician.">
  • AHPRA registration.">
  • Demonstrated experience working across the lifespan.">
  • Significant experience within the NDIS, LSA, and DHS funding schemes.">
  • Passion for leadership and mentorship, with a focus on developing clinical teams and shaping future talent.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.">
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on driving quality improvement projects.">
