Minimum qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce / Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications :
- Experience in scaling the business in partnership with external partners.
- Experience in sales within the mobile and technology industries, including mobile phone sales, business development, or sales strategy with Australian Telecom carriers and retailers.
- Understanding of mobile device market issues, growth goals, and strategies to advance within the marketplace.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization, build relationships, and rally teams across organizational lines.

Using your business acumen and product knowledge, you will interact with partners to help them grow using Google's latest offerings. Your understanding of relevant verticals and industry relationships will help shape applications and content for products like YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will develop and execute strategies to sustainably scale our business. Collaborating with Telco and Retail partners, you will identify opportunities to bring Google products to market innovatively. You will influence product growth in a sales environment and work with a highly matrixed team to align with Google's values of respect and inclusivity.
The Global Partnerships organization explores new opportunities with partners, supporting Google's product teams with partnerships that enhance user experiences across advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more. The team develops go-to-market strategies and incubates business growth across various products.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, managing strategic partnerships of all sizes.
- Develop cross-product strategic initiatives and go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals in dynamic industries.
- Negotiate complex agreements and renewals, building consensus with internal and external executives.
- Manage existing agreements to realize and optimize partnership value and foster long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams across geographies to launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets.
