Overview

Revenue Optimisation Support Officer role at Children\'s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service. The role delivers efficient and customer-focused services while supporting the Private Practice Revenue functions. Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, the team aims to optimise growth in private practice revenue while maintaining the financial integrity of the HHS\'s revenue collection processes.

About The Team

The Private Practice team is responsible for all billing against doctor provider numbers for patients who have been seen privately in outpatient clinics (bulk-billed to Medicare) or as inpatients (invoiced to private health insurance). They are also responsible for identification of billing opportunities through reviewing insured patient records.

About The Role

In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children\'s Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Children\'s Health Queensland\'s core values as outlined above, and the Queensland Health Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain patient revenue documentation in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Private Health Insurance Act 2007.
