Mount Alvernia College seeks an exceptional Dean of Middle Years to join our high-performing leadership team and make a lasting impact on students' learning, wellbeing, and growth.

Following the promotion of our Dean to Deputy Principal - Teaching and Learning, this role offers a rare opportunity to lead the Middle Years (Years 7–9), a pivotal stage where students consolidate skills, grow in independence, and embrace new challenges.

As Dean of Middle Years, you will:

Provide strategic leadership for Years 7–9, aligned with the College's Franciscan ethos and priorities.

Lead innovative teaching and learning practices to enhance student outcomes.

Integrate academic care with wellbeing programs to foster resilience and high expectations.

Build strong partnerships with families and the community to support transitions.

Inspire, mentor, and develop staff within a collaborative, high-performing culture.
