Position Overview

Are you an experienced technician looking to work in the Defence industry? This is your chance to take your technical skills into one of Australia's most secure and rewarding sectors.

Our client is a trusted service provider supporting critical Defence capability, and they're seeking a motivated Field Service Representative to join their team in NSW and work with the Royal Australian Navy. This role offers the opportunity to transfer your trade background into a Defence environment - with full training, career growth, and the chance to work on projects that make a real impact.

The role will be based in the Central Coast and will require travel to Sydney.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field maintenance, servicing, and upgrades on specialist equipment on Naval platforms
  • Diagnose and repair technical issues to ensure systems remain operational
  • Support engineers and project teams in delivering Defence capability
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with safety standards
  • Represent the company professionally on base and at client sites
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or related field
  • Proven experience in maintenance, field service, or technical roles
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility for an NV1 security clearance
