Bim Systems Administrator, Data Center Design Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure our customers have continual access to cloud services. We work on challenging problems with a diverse team of engineers, security experts, operations managers, and more, maintaining high standards for safety, security, and cost-efficiency.
You will be part of the global BIM technology team, responsible for implementing, managing, and adopting BIM technologies to support the design, construction, and operation of Amazon data centers. Your responsibilities include administering BIM systems, overseeing daily operations, proposing process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and coordinate development.
Key job responsibilities
- Administer BIM Common Data Environments like Autodesk Construction Cloud and other solutions.
- Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain BIM solutions using relevant technologies.
- Create comprehensive BIM systems documentation.
- Promote, educate, and support primary design technology applications.
- Develop technical solutions, scripts, or programs using BIM API and SDKs such as Revit and Autodesk Platform Services.
- Coordinate information management, metadata, and classification codes with asset databases.
- Perform BIM data QA / QC and analysis.
- Provide BIM technical support to project teams.
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, processes, and workflows regionally.
- Train internal and external teams in BIM software, procedures, and best practices.

Minimum qualifications
3+ years of experience with BIM programs and systems.3+ years working with Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.2+ years using BIM API and SDKs.Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or related STEM field.Experience with BIM integrations and third-party APIs like Autodesk Platform Services.Knowledge of AI, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.Experience with SQL, data analysis, and process improvement.Passion for learning new technologies and programming languages.We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land in Australia and pay our respects.
